Battalion Timeline,
Posting and Deployment record |
This
page will give a year by year record of the Battalions postings and sub
deployments. The Regiment started its life in Alma Barracks, Catterick a
location known to the Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment having served
there in the late 1960s and early 70s. The Gloucestershire Regiment were
in Alma Barracks just prior to the amalgamation, so it was a fitting
place for the Battalion to start its travels. |
