Gloucestershire Regiment
Briefing Board
THE AIM:- Of this section is
to cover the
activities of the 1st Battalion Gloucestershire Regiment from
1981, through to 1994 when they amalgamated with the 1st
Battalion the Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment. We will highlight
the activities of those who served at that time and who later made
an impact in forming the 1st Battalion Royal Gloucestershire,
Berkshire and Wiltshire Regiment. We are covering the last 12 years
of the Gloucester's existence to balance the time scales with the
Royal Berkshires and Wiltshire sections displayed on this website.
If you served in this Battalion
between the relevant dates the 'Farmersboys' Website team would
welcome any comments or assistance
