The Battle Honours in Heavy type are entitled to be borne on the colours

On a square of crimson, a cross patte throughout silver, charged with a sphinx couchant upon a pedestal inscribed 'Egypt', all gold. A Sphinx within a laurel wreath upon a pedestal inscribed 'Egypt'.

THE AIM :- Of this section is to tell the ongoing story of the Royal Gloucestershire, Berkshire and Wiltshire Regiment in Historical terms. This is a live Regiment and there may be certain restrictions imposed on us.

YOU WILL IN THE FUTURE BE ABLE TO ‘DOUBLE CLICK’ INTO EACH BATTLE HONOUR AND ESTABLISH ‘WHO TOOK PART’ ‘WHEN IT TOOK PLACE’ and ‘WHERE IT TOOK PLACE’, IN ADDITION WE WILL SHOW WHAT OTHER UNITS FROM OUR REGIMENT TOOK PART IN THE ENGAGEMENTS AND WERE NOT AWARDED IT AS A BATTLE HONOUR
